On the Shore

Inspired by the times I've have seen discarded fish heads on the shore of the lake I frequented as a child. This is fashioned after the Brook Trout, a native fish to Lake Michigan. Weaved on the frame loom and backed with wool felt with the addition of locally found beading decorated with found beach glass. Using found and locally sourced materials to hearken back to the parts of the fish left behind.
